This past weekend I traveled to Houston to photograph Nick + Savanna's wedding. This wedding was a special one! 4 years ago, on this day they decided to take a chance and become a couple.
Their energy, their joy, their strong family bonds, their dancing skills... and a dog of honor to finish off, made for an incredible wedding day. There were tears, pride, and joy in the area as Nick + Savanna announced their vows to each other. Their love is undeniable and of course, I loved them as a couple when I first met them at their engagement session but on their wedding day, it was never more clear that their families just mold together. Who they are as individuals only make them a better part of who they are in union. Celebrating with their friends and family was unforgettable and they're definitely a group made for celebrating.
I'm still in shock that we were able to access the Karbach boiler room. According to staff, no one is allowed in there, especially guests. Savanna says I made all of Nick's dreams come true. Asking nicely has always paid off for me as a photographer.
I have loved to get to know them over the past year and I'm sure there were many more struggles than just planning a wedding during a pandemic. I'm honored to have been part of this beautiful day and even more blessed to call Nick + Savanna my friends.
N+S, Life will not always be a stroll in the park, but I know undoubtedly that you two will be there for one another as friends, as family, and certainly as husband and wife.
