Their day began with a brisk chill making its way through the hill country. The last cold front of the season. While Taylor calls Marble Falls home, it wasn't until she was out of town -- away from Cody, that she felt homesick for him. This is when she realized he was her lifelong partner. Together, they carved out a piece of Texas for themselves and sealed it with a kiss at Twisted Ranch.
Maybe it was the weather that kept us close, but walking into the bridal suite I felt like Taylor's girls were my girls. We helped button the buttons, hide the bra straps, braid the hair, and keep everyone cool, calm and collected. When it came time for the end of the reception we were dancing like old friends.
Surrounded by their vast group of friends and family, Cody + Taylor became one. They walked down the aisle as if they had stolen a treasure of happiness and didn't plan on telling anyone.
Taylor, I remember at the very end of the night when the limo awaited your departure, the sparklers were out and guests were starting to part that you walked over to me almost in tears and said, "Yaz, I'm so sad. We planned this night for a whole year and it's all over". I reassured you that your pictures would keep the night alive. At the moment, it may have sounded cliche and overrated, but I hope that looking over these captured memories, all those euphoric feelings come back to you.
Cody + Taylor, thank you a million times over. Standing amongst your family and friends, I knew you were in excellent guiding hands. You draw people in with your smiles and keep them alongside for the ride with your vibrant personalities. For this and for so much more, thank you for allowing me the privilege of documenting your special day.

If you're here for #weddinginspiration or guidance, take Taylor's advice and hire a wedding coordinator. "The peace of mind is 100% worth the extra investment".

Taylor's dress is Essence Designs from Signature Bridal Salon in Bee Cave, Texas. She says, "they are AMAZING".
While everyone was preparing with sparklers, I had the DJ play one final song for Cody and Taylor. These were the moments only a few eyes got to witness.
