I'm super excited to share the first maternity session of the year with you today. Momma-to-be Jael had a vision for her maternity session. She wanted a fitted dress with a long train and her husband alongside her. Jael and I were watching the weather the entire week hoping some sunshine would come through. I left it up to them to decide if they wanted to be photographed on a rainy day and quite honesty, it felt like it was going to pour at any minute.
I loaded up the car, blasted some random Pandora stations and drove out to McKinney Falls State Park all while calculating how much it was raining by the speed of my windshield wipers. It didn't start pouring until right after driving out of the park. I couldn't help but feel more in love with this gloomy weather worthy of snuggles and warm blankets. The mist and fog added an element I adore.
Nando + Jael, it was a pleasure sharing hot chocolate and this special moment with you. Congrats on your little blessing named Halsey.
And one from our outtake reel because she's super cute!
