I seriously have the best couples around. Livi + Jeff have an unrecoverable amount of love for one another, it’s almost palpable. Not to mention they are humble, kind, and made me laugh until my stomach hurt. We had never met prior to the session, and yet it felt as if I had found my childhood friends, and had lots to catch up on.
Livi was hesitant to take engagement pictures since they tend to be static and overly-posed. Their session is so far from that and I believe it portrayed their flirty relationship perfectly. While it was a hot and humid summer evening with the sweat practically dripping off our chins, they never stopped laughing and playing.

"There are key moments in life where you can draw clear distinctions between a life before and a life after. Meeting Livi was one of those key moments for me. Livi and I met during a patient encounter where her translation skills were needed. I will never forget her smile and her gentle touch she demonstrated. We had an instant spark when our eyes met and it was a connection I truly think people can only experience once.
Days went by and I struggled to find the right scenario where just maybe I could ask her out. I felt like my nerves would have the best of me, seeing as I saw so much riding on it. Opportunities were given but were not taken, it had to be right.
Then one day after having my eyes examined and dilated I was attempting to leave the office where she worked. It was a Friday afternoon. I was tumbling down the office steps, content to spend a weekend making cookies and watching Netflix when I realized I forgot my wallet. I carefully made my way back up the stairs and retrieved it. On the second attempt at leaving, that's when it happened. Livi and I met in the stairwell. My eyes dilated and everything a bit blurry but I knew that in the blurriness was an angel's face.
Senses dulled but wit intact, timing beyond perfect, and our connection cosmically aligned, we hit it off immediately. Contact info and vague plans for Saturday acquired, I float out of the hospital.
In many ways my feet haven't touched the ground since. Livi gets upset when I say it, but if the world ended tomorrow, my life would feel complete. Getting engaged, taking photos and preparing for marriage only seems so natural because I have her in my life. I am thankful for that every day and grateful for each new day with her that comes."

"Jeff and I were on our way to Japan and thought it'd be a nice to do a stopover in Astoria, Oregon on the east coast, since it was where we had our first trip together (for Goonies fest!) I had a funny feeling that something was "off" with him that day we headed out. We made the hour drive out from Portland and thought we could take a little stroll off the coast. It was extremely squally and rainy with sideways rain coming from all directions to keep us from leaving our car! Finally, after some time had passed, the rain had died down and we headed down. 5 minutes after walking, we were drenched and Jeff abruptly had a bright idea to grab a snack from the car (which I thought was odd). He said he would be right back and once he returned, we continued walking towards the ocean.
Another couple was on the path trailing behind, and suddenly, Jeff in his most discrete voice said, "I'm about to propose, do you mind taking our picture?!" Typical Jeff, as if I didn't hear any of this!! He got down on one knee and his beautiful words were then a blur to me, for I was excitedly impending what was about to happen. So much joy had filled my heart knowing we were going to take this next step together. So many flashbacks of our relationship and precious moments flooded throughout my mind.
He has touched my soul in so many ways and the deepest love I have ever endured. Our proposal may not have been perfect, but I wouldn't have wanted it any different. It was 100% Jeff, and that's all I could ever ask for ❤️."
Jeff + Livi along with their dog Alexander have created a foundation for a life-long marriage and plan to tie the knot with a destination wedding.
