Wedding Reception at the New Braunfels Civic Center

After months of anticipation and planning. It was the final week before the wedding. Wally and the groomsmen took advantage of the couple's new apartment by having a "last hurrah" the night before the wedding. Priscilla and her bridesmaids had a sleepover at her mom's house and got ready the next morning at the Carrington Crossing in Buda, Texas. Abby, one of her maid of honors helped her remove her funky socks to put on her very elegant Mischka Badgley bridal shoes right before meeting Wally downstairs. Priscilla was extremely nervous, but I knew once she saw Wally during their First Look, he'd calm her nerves. He was awestruck. Who wouldn't be, did you see her Vera Wang dress?! After their comforting reunion Priscilla asked him, "Do you like my shoes?" [THAT'S MY GIRL!]

Priscilla and her bridal party along with her mother and grandmother rode a limo to the ceremony held at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. Her dad keep it together, but I know it stung just a little bit to be handing over his Princess that day.

The reception was full of details and personalized touches. A sitting area near the cake included a case center-table with her mother and grandmother's wedding bouquet. By the entrance there was also a "generations" table that included baby outfits and pictures of their parents on their wedding day.

There was a grand entrance with each wedding couple taking their own spin on it, and finally Priscilla & Wally dancing in and taking a seat at their table. Mariachi immediately followed and started playing while the food was being served.

The bride & Groom had their first dance while a slideshow played in the background. Priscilla and her dad danced to Hearland's I Loved Her First, followed by a surprise dance to Watch Me (Whip Nae Nae) which then started the party. They thought they'd be performing alone with the exception of the bridal party, however the kids and other brave souls ran to the dance floor as soon as first note dropped -- literally pushing the original performers out of the spotlight.

The evening was full of laughter, kisses, dancing, pictures and CAKE!

My friends, you are perfect together, and bring out the best in one another. There is nothing but laughter when I'm around you two. I hope you enjoyed your honeymoon at the resort in Riviera Maya and wish you lots of love, respect and happiness.
