Like normal Texas weather, it started off as the type of day you want to stay in bed. It was raining, and it was cold but there was no stopping, the wedding day arrived in all greatness after a year of detailed planning.
Her mom and daughter helped her get dressed and just as the bride prepared to leave to the ceremony, the sun started creeping in through the clouds. Melissa tried to control her tears as her father kissed her on her forehead before walking out the door.
The rings tried to escape for a brief moment, but my lovely husband came to the rescue. :D Surrounded by their closest family and friends they made promises to respect and love each other.
On the way to the reception at Zedler Mill in Luling, Texas, we stopped at Starbucks to continue a tradition her bride friends had started, and oh yes, those are Converse! They shared their story of how they fell in love, and reminiscing made her glow even more.
